International Processes

Welcome to the International Processes Commission of the International Forestry Students’ Association!

IFSA delegates visit conferences all over the world and let you participate in these events as well through their blogging. If you are interested in what is going on at UNFCCC or how the state of the worlds biodiversity is, you are in the right place at this blog.

Stay tuned for daily updates during and around conferences and use this opportunity to gain first hand experience! Interested in attending a meeting yourself? – Apply for Open Calls made by IFSA before every conference or simply ask for opportunities!

The processes are guided by our International Processes Commission, which is trying to work to provide as many opportunities as possible.

The IPC is currently composed of 6 sub-commissions:

FOREST EUROPE
UN FAO (UN Food and Agriculture Organisation)
UNFCCC (UN Framework Convention on Climate Change)
UNCBD (UN Convention of Biological Diversity)
UNFF (UN Forum on Forests)
UNEP (UN Environment Program)

IFSA is also an accredited entity within the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD).
